There was a lot of talk about where we should go for Mia's 22nd birthday, and in the end, we decided to do a weekend getaway to this beach city called Cassis! And oh boy, was this a great choice. We got to spend quality girl time with each other and if that wasn't enough the weather gods blessed us with beautiful rays of vitamin D all weekend, making it a hundred times better. Also, we got to go on a boat ride to see the calanques (cliffs) and got a free vineyard tour/wine tasting at this random vineyard we came across. Turns out, it's actually a pretty well-known white wine manufacturer! (Lucky us, right?) We spent most of our time wandering around the city, drinking wine, cooking, just chatting away our lives. It couldn't have been a more girly weekend. It was also so relaxing and nice to be back at the beach again. I guess I truly am a Cali girl at heart.
